Clinical Study On Treating Cervical Spondylosis Of Vertebrobasilar Insufficiency With Benefiting Yang To Nourishing Yin

Aim: With Transcranial Doppler (TCD), The evaluation Scale for Cervical Vertigo and McGill pain questionaire (MPQ), research the clinical experience of a famous old doctor of TCM further, discuss the curative effect and mechanism of treating Cervical Spondylosis of Vertebrobasilar Insufficiency with the method of Benefiting Yang to Nourishing Yin, settling the foundation for future study.Method: With random number table, 40 patient of Cervical Spondylosis of Vertebrobasilar Insufficiency were divided into Benefiting Yang to Nourishing Yin group (A group) 20 cases and select point in part group (B group,) 20 cases. The point dazhui guanyuan was selected in A groupc The point jingjiaji was selected in B group Treatment was given on every days, and a course included 10 treatments. Index: (1) Vs, Vm, Vd, PI RI. (2) The evaluation Scale for Cervical Vertigo (3) McGill pain questionaireResult:(1)31 case showed significant increased and 9 case showed decreased in the blood flow velocities of the vertebral-basilar arteries "VBA" (checked by TCD) in 40 case.(2) There are no statistic signf icant difference between before and instand treating of blood flow velocity vs of VBA in both two groups (P>0.05) . There are no statistic signficant difference between instant and after treating of blood flow velocity vs of VBA in both two groups (P>0. 05) . There are statistichighly signficant difference between before and after treating of blood flow velocity vs of VBA in both two groups (P<0. 01) . There are no statistic signficant of difference in Blood flow velocity Vs of after treating between both groups (P>0. 05) .(3) There are no statistic signficant difference between before and instand treating of blood flow velocity vm, vd of VBA in both two groups (P>0. 05) . There are no statistic signficant difference between instant and after treating of blood flow velocity vm, vd of VBA in both two groups (P>0. 05) . There are statistic highly signficant difference between before and after treating of blood flow velocity vm vd of VBA in both two groups (P<0. 01) . There are no statistic signficant of difference in Blood flow velocity vm, vd of after treating between both groups (P>0.05) .(4) There are no statistic signficant difference between before and after treating of PI RI in both two groups (P>0. 05) .(5) BA of after treating of group A are highly statistic signficant difference than that of group B (P<0.05)(6) There are statistic highly signficant difference between before and after treating of index of the evaluation Scale for Cervical Vertigo in both two groups (P<0. 01) . There are no statistic signficant difference between both groups (P>0. 05).(7) There are statistic highly signficant difference between before and after treating of index of MPQ in both two groups (P<0. 01). There are no statistic signficant difference between both groups (P>0. 05) .Conclusion:(1) The result of TCD examine show that. Examined with TCD, the result showed that the blood flow rate in VBA increased abnormally for most sufferer belong to Cervical Spondylosis of Vertebrobasilar Insufficiency.(2) The treatment can significantly improve the blood flow velocity of VBA in both groups.(3) The treatment can' t effect elasticity conformance of blood vessel in both groups.(4) The treatment can significantly improve symptom and adaptive abilities to society in both groups,but There are no statistic signficant difference between both groups.(5) The therapy of Benefiting Yang to Nourishing Yin can increase blood flow in brain. For amending the symptom of brain caused by Vertebrobasilar Insufficiency, it' s effective. The therapy of select point in part can relax the spasm of muscles of neck. For relieving the pain of neck and shoulder in part, it' s effective.(6) The treatment can significantly improve ache in both groups,but There are no statistic signficant difference between both groups.(7) moderate moxibustion is simple ,easy economical safe easily accepted by sufferers.
