The Study On Nouring Blood Effect Of Shengyu Decoction In Blood Deficiency Mice And Its Compatibility Mechanism

Under the guidance of TCM, based on the compositive methods of the nourishing blood formulas, In order to provide theoretical and experimental basis on the treatment of syndrome of blood deficiency in clinic. we disparted Shengyu Decoction into 5 different ingredient groups and made an experiment on the effects of regulating hematogenesis in blood deficiency mice of Shengyu Decoction. The results showed that Shengyu Decoction can increase WBC, RBC, HGB and PLT in blood and BMNC. EPO in blood serum and CD34+ cells in bone marrow cells also increased. We deduced that the enriching blood effect was close related to accelerating the excretion of EPO and the proliferation and differentiation of hemopoietic stem cells, stimulating the production and releasing of blood cells. Research on the different ingredient groups indicated that the effect of the groups with prepared rhemannia rhizome and white peony root were superior to the groups without them in enhancing the RBC, HGB and EPO, and when prepared rhemannia rhizome and white peony root combined with Chinese angelica root and chuanxiong rhizome, this effect can be improved remarkably, and when combined with ginseng and astragalus root, EPO in blood was not increased, it was seemed that ginseng and astragalus root can inhibit the excretion of EPO. As a whole, the effect of Shengyu Decoction were superior to the other groups in enhancing blood cells and bone marrow nuclear cells and in improving the proliferation and differentiation of hemopoietic stem cells, which showed that the different ingredients of Shengyu Decoction interacted with each other interdependently or restrictedly. The fundamental nature that filling essence, tonifying Qi, activating blood may contribute to hematogenesis were revealed.
