[Objective] To observe the clinical effect of tinidazole- furacilin solution administered locally in oral cavity to study the pharmacal sensitivity and stenilization of the solution to aerobe and anaerobe so to apply an effective solution to treat bacterial infection.[Methods] 81 cases of periodontal abscess and pericoronitis are devided randomly into trial group and control group ,then observing the clinical effect according to the evaluation standard, the pharmacal sensitivity is performed by the slip in vitro while the sterlization of both control and trial groups is observed through minimal apenture within 24 hours.[Results] The solution of trial group is more effective than control group in treating pericoronitis (x2test,p<0.05).The pain and swelling are reduced much more than control group's. The solution is more effective in treating periodontal abscess than metronidazlo and furacilin (x2test, P<0.05).GI,SBI and PD in trial group are all reduced more than control group's.The trial indicates that tinidazole- furacilin solution is sensitive on partly sensitive to aerobe and anaerobe .The sterilization trial indicatesthe solution has effective intensity and rate for steriliztion.[Conclusion] The tinidazole-furacilin is effective in treating oral bacterial infection and it can be applied in patients broadly as a new preparation.
