A Correlation Study Of Criminal Violence And Personality Disorder

Objective: The purpose of study was to discuss personality disorder of criminal violence, and discuss the influence of age, educated level and its imprisonment around marital status to personality disorder.Objects and Methods: 1. We selected 204 female criminals that serving a sentence in woman prison of Chongqing and 294 male criminals that serving a sentence in prison of Chongqing. Age was between 18 and 57 years old, average age is 31.73 8.10years old. And we recorded its educated level and imprisonment around marital status.2. Dividing objects into two groups of male and female. On this foundation, dividing objects into criminal violence and common criminal two groups again.3. Let each tested people filling out PDQ-R, EPQ and SCL-90 3 kinds of questionnaire, and withdraw after filling independently.4. Under SAS software, we made statistics of analysis.Results: 1. In PDQ-R questionnaire, 65.6% is valuing much in 2 below on " Too good ", 68.6% is valuing much in 1 below on "Suspect questionnaire ", this explained that the investigation questionnaire was effective. Each group total score is close, and is all higher than 30. In the " Antisocial", there is notable discrepancy between male and female criminal violence group. Besides, male and female criminal violence groups had discrepancy on "Paranoid"," Schizoid "," Avoidant" 3 aspects. Female violence and common criminal .groups hadn't discrepancy on every item.2. In EPQ questionnaire, male and female common criminal groups had notablediscrepancy on " lie score".3. In SCL-90 questionnaire, male and female common criminal groups had lower scores on " Positive symptom distress level" than male and female violence criminal groups. Male and female common criminal groups have significance discrepancy on total score to male and female violence criminal groups. Besides, male and female criminal violence groups had discrepancies on " Photic anxiety" and " psychoticism ".4. Correlation analysis: We had taked correlation analysis between every factor of three questionnaires and age, educated level and its imprisonment around marital status.In PDQ-R questionnaire result," age " had apparently positive correlation with " Too good "," Schizoid "," Schizotypal", and had positive correlation with " Obsessive-compulsive " and "Dependent"." Educated level" had positive correlation with" Avoidant"," Antisocial", and " Histrionic ". "limprisonment former marital status " had apparently positive correlation with " Too good ",and had positive correlation with " Schizoid "." Imprisonment marital status " have apparently positive correlation with " Too good"," Histrionic"," Obsessive-compulsive "," Schizoid ", " Avoidant", " Schizotypal"," dependent"," total score" many factors, and had positive correlation with " Paranoid", and had negative correlation with " Antisocial".In EPQ questionnaire result," age " had apparently positive correlation with " lie score ", and had negative correlation with " psychoticism "." Educated level" had apparently positive correlation with " lie score", and had positive correlation with " psychoticism ", and had negative correlation with " internal and external to"." Imprisonment former marital status " had positive correlation with " lie score "." Imprisonment marital status " had notable positive correlation with " lie score ".In SCL-90 questionnaire result," age" had positive correlation with" total score". Female criminal violence group haven't discrepancy on personality character with common criminal groups.
