| Objective: To assess the high-resolution CT findings of pulmonary leukemic infiltrates. Materials and methods: To review retrospectively 32 leukemia patients who were underwent high-resolution CT of lung and whose pulmonary infectious or uninfectious complications had been excluded in advance. The diagnosis of leukemic infiltration was made with a combination of symptom, experimental examination and experienced treatment. The high-resolution CT with spiral scan was used. Results:Among the high-resolution CT findings of pulmonary leukemic infiltration, pulmonary interstitum lesion is specific feature(80.77%), especially interlobular septal thickening (69.23%). Lymphadeno-pathy was 46.15%.Ground-glass opacity, nodes, air-space consolidation and pleural effusion are less. Conclusion: The pulmonary interstitum lesion, particu-larly interlobular septal thickening, is predominance of the high-reso-lution CT findings of pulmonary leukemic infiltration. That reflects the predilection of leukemic cells to involve the pulmonary interstitium, especially the interlobular septum. As an uninvading method, the high-resolution CT has the superiorities can find more responsively lesion and can diagnose more characteristically pulmonary extensive lesion. |
