Pathological, radioimmunitical, biochemical and immunohistochemical techniques wereadopted to study the difference of related indexes.Result 1) Pathological examination: Hepatic fibrosis degree between the tetrandrine treated group and the tetramethylpyrazine treated group has no significant difference(P>0.05), but they are significantly lower than that of the untreated group(P<0.01), and significantly higher than that of the combination treated group(P<0.01). 2) Serum hyaluronic acid concentration: Serum hyaluronic acid concentration between the tetrandrine treated group and the tetramethylpyrazine treated group has no significant difference(P>0.05), but they are significantly higher than that of the combination treated group(P<0.01), and significantly lower than that of the untreated group(P<0.05).3) Collagen content in liver: Collagen content of the untreated group is significantly higher than those of the tetrandrine treated group and the tetramethylpyrazine treated group(P<0.01). Collagen content of the combination treated group is significantly lower than those of the tetrandrine treated group and the tetramethylpyrazine treated group(P<0.01).Collagen content of the tetrandrine treated group and the tetramethylpyrazine treated group has no significant difference (P>0.05). 4) Serum nitric oxide concentration: Serum nitric oxide concentration of the tetramethylpyrazine treated group is lower than that of the untreated group, higher than that of the combination treated group, but the differences are not significant (P>0.05 ) . It is significantly higher than those of the combination treated group and the control group(P<0.05). Serum nitric oxide concentration of the tetrandrine treated group is significantly lower than that of the untreated group (P<0.05), significantly higher than those of the combinationtreated group and the control group(P<0.05). 5) Desmin positive cells proportion in liver: Desmin positive cell was not found in the control group. Difference of Desmin positive cells proportion between the tetrandnne treated group and the tetramethylpyrazine treated group is not significant (P>0.05).But those of them are significantly lower than that of the untreated group (P<0.05) .higher than that of the combination treated group (P<0.05). 6) There is no interaction between tetrandrine and tetramethylpyrazine in prohibiting hepatic fibrosis in rat. Conclusion The related indexes of the combination treated group are significantly lower than those of the groups that treated with tetrandrine or tetramethylpyrazine alone. It can be included in a way that effects of tetrandrine in combination with tetramethylpyrazine on prohibiting hepatic fibrosis in rat are better than those of using them alone. From the results of the factorial analyses, we can find that when they were combined, there is no interaction between tetrandrine and tetramethylpyrazine in prohibiting hepatic fibrosis, and they play the role indenpendently. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | hepatic fibrosis, tetramethylpyrazine, tetrandrine, hyaluronic acid, combination application, collagen, Desmin, nitric oxide. | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
