| Objective : To study the effect of Liuweidihuang Decoction on treating Chronic Glomerulonephritis . Methods : 43 patients were randomly divided into two groups. They were given different treatment, and observed the change of their symptoms,protein in urine and kidney function. Results: (1) Both Liuweidihuang Decoction and the control group treated only by routine western medicine can improve patients' clinica symptom effectively,and the Liuweidihuang Detoction had better effect than the control group. (p<0.01). (2) Both Liuweidihuang Decoction and the control group eliminated edema effectively ,and the Liuweidihuang Decoction had better effect than the control group. (p<0.05). (3) Both Liuweidihuang Decoction and the control group decreased the quantity of protein in urine effectively,and the Liuweidihuang Detoction had a better effect than the control group. (p<0.05). (4) Both Liuweidihuang Decoction and the control group improved the kidney function effectively,and there was no difference between them.
