A Preliminary Study On The Mechanism Of Medical Granules Of Cuochuangyin In Treatment Of Acne Vulgaris And The Clinical Observation On Its Effect

According to the etiology and pathogenesis of acne vulgaris, the therapeutic principle of dissipating heat and detoxifying, drying the damp, cooling and activating the blood is made. The therapeutic effect of acne vulgaris with the Medical Granules of Cuochuangyin (MGC) is observed and a preliminary study on the mechanism of medical granules of Cuochuangyin in treatment of acne vulgaris is made. The primary cure rate and rate are 81.7% and 95.0% respectively after 60 patients with acne vulgaris are treated with MGC. There is obvious difference in curative effect between the group treated with MGC and that with Tablets of Qingreanchuang. The curative effects are closely linked to the types of acne vulgaris. Experimental results prove that MGC can reduce the follicular keratinous plug in rabbit ear, suppress the Syrian Hamster Flank Organ and Propionibacterium acne. The curative effect of MGC is prove clinically and experimentally with great reliabi lity. The mechanism of the therapy of MGC may be credited with the anti~androgen action, the anti-P. acnee activity and the anti-hyperkeratosis.
