| Objective: To explore clinical efficacy and investigate mechanism of YuGan Tabs in treating of chronic viral hepatitis B(CHB).Methods: The patients suffered from chronic viral hepatitis B were randomly divided into two groups: 100 patients in treatment group were received YuGan Tabs .post-oral , three times a day, 4 tablets each time; 84 patients in contrast group were received Compound YiGan Tabs , three times a day, 4 g each time; The treatment course of both groups is twelve months. The improvement of clinical symptoms and markers were related to liver functions, hepatitis B virals (HBV), hepatic fibrosis were measured at 0,3,6,9,andl2months in both groups respectively, we made a comparison to evaluates treatment effects.Results:l.Situations in improving clincal symptoms: The symptoms such as : hypochondriac pain, insomia, soreness , lassitude in the loins and kenee in treatment group had a better improving than that of in contrast group (p<0.05~0.01).2. Situations in regulating liver functions:The rates of efficacy in treatment group and contrast group were 85.88% and 75.36%, There were significant difference between two groups (p<0.05).3. Situations in anti-HBV replications:The negertive rates of HBeAg and HBVDNA were 32.00%, 41.00% in treatment group , in contrast group were 22.62%, 25.00% respectively in the end, after comparison p<0.05.4. Situations in anti- hepatic fibrosis:The declined degrees of serum hyalurouic(HA), laminin(LN), typeIII procollagen (PIIIP) and type IV collagen (IVC) had obvious difference in two groups (p<0.05~0.01). 5. Assessment on treatment effects: The tatal rates of efficacy in treatment group was 85.00%, which is better than that of 77.40% in contrast group.Conclusions: YuGan Tabs have a sound efficacy in treating of CHB with conveniently taking and have no any toxic, side-effects.Its mechanism results in respects such as improving clinical symptoms,protecting liver functions, anti-HBV, anti-hepatic fibrosis. |
