| PrafaceHyperlipemia is the most dangerous factor of atherosclerosis ( AS) . AS is an important etiologic basis of many kinds of diseases, such as cerebral vascular disease and coronary heart disease. How to treat hyperlipemia is always an important aspect in clinical study. Blood magnetization therapy is a new physical method. We mainly study the effect of blood magnetization therapy on hyperlipemia.Experimental Data1. SubjectsWe chose 31 patients with hyperlipemia according to the diagnos-tic criterion from Chinese Medical Association, that is, TC > 5. 72mmol/L and/or TG >1. 70mmol/L, including 16 males and 15 fe-males, mean age 54. 97 ?11. 43 years old. All patients were exam-ined in order to remove some diseases which could affect blood - lipid metabolism. Any medicine which could affect blood - lipid was stopped during our experiment. All patients did not drink or do strenu-ous exercise before 24 hours of our experiment. Our experiment used self - control.2. Reagent and ApparatusTG and TC kits were supplied by ShangHai KeHua - DongLing Diagnostic Products Co. , Ltd. LDL - C and HDL - C kits were sup-plied by ShangHai BeiYu Biological Co. , Ltd. Blood - lipids were measured by HITACHI autonomic biochemical analyzing appartatus. The appartatus of blood magnetization therapy was supplied by LiaoN-ing Blood Magnetization Therapy Research Center.Experimental Methods1. Collection of blood samplesA 2ml fasting cubital venous blood sample was collected from the patients before and after treatment, then followed up three months, each month, a 2ml blood sample was collected with the same method. All blood samples were centrifugated within 3 hours under room tem-perature and serum was drawn for blood ?lipid measurement.2. Operation course of blood magnetization therapyEach time 200ml cubital venous blood was drawn and was dealt in the apparatus of blood magnetization therapy for 15 minutes, then was transported into the patients again. One time every other day, five times a course.3. Examination MethodsThe levels of TG TC HDL - C and LDL - C were measured by enzymatic method. The experimental courses were operated strictly ac-cording to instruction sheet.4. Statistical AnalysisAll data were expressed as mean ?SD. The statistical method was t - test.ResultsThe levels of blood - lipids after treatment were compared with the levels before treatment. The levels of TG TC and LDL - C de-creased after treatment, the differences were significant (P <0. 05). The level of HDL - C increased after treatment, the difference was significant (P <0. 05). At the first month after treatment, the levels of TG and TC continued to decrease and the level of HDL - C contin-ued to increase, the differences were highly significant (P<0. 01). The level of LDL - C continued to decrease, the difference was signifi-cant (P <0. 05). At the second and the third month after treatment, the levels of blood - lipids were still different from the levels before treatment (P <0. 05). There were not significant differences among the levels of blood -lipids after treatment the first month the second month and the third month(P >0. 05).DiscussionAfter dArsonval firstly used magnet in treating diseases in 1896, magnetization therapy has been widely used in many countries. Blood magnetization therapy is a physical method based on biomagnetism. It can increase negative charge on the surface of erythrocyte, decrease blood viscosity and increase the ability of erythrocyte in carrying oxy-gen. In addition, it can increase body immunity, increase the activity of superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase and clear free radi-cals. Blood magnetization therapy has been proved to be a save meth-od through blood, chromatid and electrical examination.Abnormality of blood - lipid is closely related to AS. Many stud-ies have demonstrated that TG^TC and LDL - C can accelerate AS and HDL - C can postpone AS. Our experiment demonstrated that the lev-els of TG TC and LDL - C decreas... |
