With the rapid growth of network bandwidth and computer power, video transmission over the network has recently aroused a lot of interest, both from academic and applied field. The important goal of video transmission is that the users can receive the video stream equably and continuously over the network. Compare with conventional analogous closed-circuit video system, video transmission over the network is not limited by distance. Netvideo technology has a favorable development outlook in educational field. This thesis mainly discusses a series of key technique and actualization means of system with regard to netvideo technique. This thesis mainly discusses a series of key techniques and actualization means of system with regard to netvideo techniques in chapter 2: Video code/decode technique especially the MPEG standard and its compression and retrieval are discussed; Relevant network protocol is discussed from the point of view of video transferring, in particular, the concept and significance is discussed, and an important streaming media technique for netvideo application is induced. The design and implementation of the video surveillance system based on MPEG-1 is described after an analysis of the advantages of the existing systems. MPEG-1 compression coding is realized by means of software and with a digital chip VIDEOFLOW, and decoding is realized only by means of software. The implementation of real-time video capture, coding and playback is described. Issues discussed include the construction of IP multicasting flow, IP multicasting based on winsock, options of protocols in transport layer and the implementation of user access control. Chapter 4 refers to the netvideo system design and implementation based on Windows Media technology. Video stream broadcast, VOD and video database files are described in details. Realization scheme is put forward and system is test based on performance. |
