| Objective It was studied for the effect of Diabetic foots (DF) that C-peptide (CP),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and the other factors as well as biochemistric indexes to search the risk factors, prevention and cure methods for DF.Methods 131 cases of type 2 of diabetes mellitus in hospital were selected from 1994 to 2002,in which 74 cases of DF including 41 case of male and 33 cases of female and 57 cases of non-diabetic foots (NDF) as control including 31 cases of male and 26 cases of female. The CP was detected by radioimmunoassay, the glucosylated hemoglobin A1C (GHbA1C) was detected by microcylinder, and the HDL-C and other biochemistric indexes were measured by 7600 automatic biochemistric analyzer. Results The age, course and incidence of diabetic retinopathy(DR),nervous lesion, diabetic nephropathy(DN) and coronary heart disease in DF group were higher than that inNDF group (P <0.01),but the incidence of hypertension had no significant difference between DF and NDF. The content of GHbA1C,fasting blood-glucose (FBG),CP,HDL-C and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) had significant difference between DF and NDF (P < 0.01),but the content of post-blood glucose (PBG),total cholesterol (TC) and triglyceride (TG) had no significant difference between two groups. Conclusion (1) The maintenance of CP physiological level can delay the occurrence of DF. (2) HDL-C and LDL-C may be examined as the markers for screening high-risk group of DF. (3) GHbA1C reflects the status of controlling blood glucose and its increase promotes the development of DF. |
