The main flaw in current nursing quality evaluation system is that it has no solid indicators what can reflex the real work of clinical nursing practices. The purpose of this project is to introduce sensitive indicators of patient outcomes specific to certain diagnosis related group (DRG) to nursing quality evaluation system .The process of this project includes two parts. The first part is the investigation of history clinical recorders. The main findings in this part are the indicators of patient outcomes in this DRG ,and the operation style is the most significant influence factor on the patient outcomes of this DRG. Based on those findings, the data is split into two: the abdominal operation group and the vaginal operation group. With the indicators of patient outcomes, a valuation system is formed. Analysis is done by the TOPS IS method. With the value C, the ranking of each sample can be made. Control graph is also used in this research to identify the cases over or below the control line through the time sequence.Field investigation is carried out based on results of the first part. Research of this part is focused on what are the most sensitive indicators of patient outcomes in this DRG group. Correlation analyze is used to finger out the most 'typical' indicators. Eight indicators is selected. Final analysis method of this part is the same as the first part.Author challenges to build a nursing quality evaluation system founded on the ground of patient outcomes, which is close to nursing practices. Standardized clinical practices guidelines of this DRG group will be the sequence of this research, though deeper and more wide-range research works are needed. It is a great step to renew the nursing evaluation system in our country. Patient will benefit from this project from the continuity nursing quality improvement.
