| Objective To investigate the clinical characters, preoperative diagnosis and some debateful problems in treating with halir cholangiocarrcinoma. Methods 39 cases have been affirmed as halir cholangiocarcinoma by operation or pathology were retrospectively analysed with their clinical characters, laboratory examinations andpreoperative imagining diagnosis. Results Only 79% cases have typical characters of obstractive jaundice; The laboratory examinations on obstructive jaundice are sensitive and useful; the accuracy of imaging diagnosis is as high as 82%; 13% cases were reoperated for the initial operation hadn't decreased postoperative jaundice. Conclusions As high as 20% patients with halir cholangiocarcinoma have atypical clinical characters; Imaging examination have great effects on diagnosis and assessment with halir cholangiocarcinom; preoperative biliary drainage and intervene examinations aren't much helpful; if necessary, second operation are useful and recommended. |
