Objective: To investigate the theory of opening sweat pore (OSP) and its value in treatment of central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO) and hi prevention of neovascular glaucoma (NVG). Methods: 1. The clinical therapeutic effects are observed by means of case-control study. 2. It is investigated and analyzed whether the method of OSP plays an active role in preventing and reducing the incidence of NVG in the group receiving treatment. 3. The primary disease and prognosis of NVG are analyzed. Results: 1. The sweat pore occlusion (SPO), which exists universally, may be regarded as a key pathogenesis in the patients with CRVO. 2.A11 targets in the group receiving treatment are unproved significantly (p<0.05), and the symptoms and hemorheological indexes treated with the method of OSP as a major way are ameliorated. This result suggests that the method of OSP may cure the primary causes of the disease. 3.The incidence of NVG of the patients followed afterwards is 8.57%, lower than that of 10%~ 30% in literatures. Conclusion: 1. SPO is the basic pathological mechanism of CRVO. 2. Definite effects can be obtained when the method of OSP is performed in the patients with CRVO. 3. Encouraging therapeutic effects are achieved even though the conclusion whether the method of OSP can reduce the incidence of CRVO still remains uncertain. |
