BACKGROUN'I)f Acute Intracerebral Hemorrhage (ICH) is the o11e of themost three diseases threatened human lives, with high morbidity rate, mortalityrate and disabiIity rate. But there are few effective clinical methods to manageICH since then. PU'RPOSE AN'D OBJECTIVE f to system review on thediagnosis, treatment, prevention of ICH, and to provide objective, confidentresults of management ICH to gUide the clinical practice. METHODS f All thepapers were searChed and assessed under the criterion of Evidence BasedMedicine (EBM) and JADAD scale. The included paPers were Meta-analysisedby Revman 4.l software. RESULTS f Neither surgery nor medica1 interventionshave effective methods to manage ICH. Head computerized tomography (CT) isthe primary selected diagnosis method. Neither nIannitOl or glyerine had notbeen proved to be benefit to treat ICH. Glucocorticonteriod has harmful action toICH due to cause infection. No evidence suggested that low-temperature hadbenefits to treat ICH. The efficacy of herbaI composition of promoting bloodcirculation and removing blood stasis was uncertain. The sufficient evidenceindicates that Stroke Units can improve the outcome of ICH patients, decrease themortality rate and disability rate. Management of hypertension is the mosteffective method to prevent ICH. CONCLUSIONS f should develop the largesample, multi-centef, randomized controlled, double blinded, placebo controlled, clinical trial to Study the surgery or medical trcament methods (includes herbalcomposition) to trca ICH, in order to find the effective, confident approaches tomanage ICH and improve the prognosis of ICH significantly...
