A Comprehensible System For Yinyang & Five-element

With discussion on value of a scientific hypothesis, the article indicates the fact that the theories of Yinyang and Five-element are hypotheses themselves. During the interim, a number of confusing points is going to be reasoned in the article. A. Yinyang Theory The ordinary process of human cognition is the first topic with different thinking manners as the following. The article, secondarily, suggests a dissimilar manner and a philosophy that select only natural laws as their subject of explanation with induction of a huge quantity of phenomenon and common sense as their fundamental. The circumscription, characteristic, and the limitation are given. The purpose of the discussion is to create a base for he theorie which break into two levels due to the confusion between of the two thinking manners. One of the aims of the thesis is just to separate the two levels. In explanation on the Yinyang theory, it is indicated that he theoriesare, in reality, a oarse- grained?science or philosophy, while the related systems, together with the relationship, are listed with the systems are single-paired Yinyang, double-paired Yinyang, three-paired Yinyang and Five-element. First of all, the single-paired Yinyang system. With the help of this system, I bring forward the basic rules of Yinyang (including complex adapting system concept, interactional rules of Yinyang, interactional rules of the systems), and the pivotal Yinyang development rules, the adapting range and its localization of the single-paired Yinyang. I bring forward and analyse the classified and divisiory double-paired Yinyang, because it is the prelife of the three-paired Yinyang. In the former system, I indicate the double-paired Yinyang system, which adapt the complex-non-adapting system and the complex-adapting-system. After indicating the double-paired Yinyang system, I draw forth the hardcore of this thesis the three-paired Yinyang system. To this, the Yinyang theory accomplishes its preparation of explaining the complex-development system. It bases Yinyang different root characters, distinguishes the development rules of the quantitative change and the qualitative change, and then decomposes it into different parts. In this thesis, my three-paired Yinyang system put the Shaoyang, Taiyang, Shaoyin, Jueyang as the different development periods. Taiyin and Yangrning will be the background and base of the whole system. So the development parts and the energy- offering parts can be divided. Then, I discuss the six stages from the energy motion and potation ways. Eliminating the every characters of the each stag; I give out the rules of infliction influence to each stage. Even more important, we can find the definition of Yinyang from this system. B. Five-element from the base of Yinyang theory The other part of this thesis is the five-element. In this part, I discuss the relationship between the Yinyang and the five-element, including the relationship and difference of the inter concept. The adapting ranges and the emphasizing points of the five-element theory and Yinyang are also brought forward. At the same time, I analyze the definition of the five-element, the relationships of generation, regulation, over-conquering and counter-conquering. Finally, I narrate the relationship between the system in my thesis and the present theory in the Chinese medicine.
