| Picea pungens var. glauca and Picea pungens'Misty Blue', Picea pungens'Kaibab' were a variant and cultivars of the Colorado spruce, which maintained high ornamental value and ecological value. By studying three kinds of plants, it could make efforts to advance the landscape development and increase domestic biodiversity.In this study, resistance ability of the three species of Colorado spruce in water stress, heavy metal stress, vehicle exhaust stress and under cold stress was studied. By measuring the water parameters under water stress and the changes of Physiological and Biochemical Characteristics, the effect of three species of spruce in all these parameters was analyze and the drought resistance ability was assessed. Three kinds of plant essential elements were selected, which would make the plant produce excessive stress when the quantity are excessive, the elements are Cu, Cr, Zn as heavy metal stress infliction object, the enzymes activity, heavy metals absorption, enrichment constant and growth quantity were measured in heavy metal stress. Analyzed the growth situation of the three species spruce and elicit resistance size by the resistance assessment. Considered NO2 concentration as the concentration of vehicle exhaust, it had been determined that the exhaust treatment gradient were 0.3,0.4,0.5,0.6 mg·m-3, treated seedlings in the open top chamber fumigation, those were measured the physiological indicators and the resistance assessment. By means of indirect identification analysis, the low temperature stress resistance of plants were analyzed and the physiological indicators and the resistance assessment was determined which treated at-15℃,-20℃,-25℃,-30℃,-35℃for 24h after removing the leaves.The research on the Rowc0 showed that three kinds of spruce Rowc0 values were below 80%, their osmotic adjustment were not determined by the properties of cell wall, but by the reduced cell cubage to adapt to water stress environment; the evaluation of the drought resistance of three species spruce indicated that the water stress tolerance of Picea pungens 'Misty Blue' was strongest, the Picea pungens var. glauca's was weakest, and the Picea pungens 'Kaibab'was middle; the resistance abilities of three species of spruce tested in heavy metal stress shows:the order the tolerance of Cu stress is:Picea pungens 'Misty Blue', Picea pungens 'Kaibab'and Picea pungens var. glauca (from strong to weak); on Cr tolerance ability: Picea pungens'Kaibab', Picea pungens var. glauca and Picea pungens'Misty Blue'(from strong to weak); and on the Zn tolerance ability from Strong to weak is:Picea pungens 'Kaibab', Picea pungens var. glauca and Picea pungens 'Misty Blue'; in automobile exhaust stress, the chlorophyll and chlorophyll a/b content of the three species of spruce were little changed, but the cell membrane permeability and the POD activity were great changed; the order of the three species'anti-stress capacity could be:Picea pungens var. glauca; Picea pungens'Kaibab'and Picea pungens'Misty Blue'(from strong to weak); coniferous plants can increase soluble sugar content by means of reducing water evaporation, thereby, increasing the tolerance at low temperature; under low temperature stress, the order of the three species' resistance capability could be:Picea pungens 'Misty Blue', Picea pungens'Kaibab'and Picea pungens var (from strong to weak). glauca; Picea pungens'Misty Blue'is more suitable for cold and dry environment than the other kinds of spruce, Picea pungens'Kaibab'is suit for heavy metal pollution environment such as factories, mines and so on, Picea pungens var. glauca is suit for greening the city streets. |
