Systematic Studies On Trichogrammatidae And Mymaridae From Part Region Of Southern Xinjiang

This paper deals with the systematic studies on Trichogrammatidae and Mymaridae from part region of Southern Xinjiang, China. Based on the examination of about 180 slide-mounted specimens collected by sweeping from about 36 places in this region, 7 genera and 8 species of Trichogrammatidae (including 1 specie new record for Xinjiang),5 genera and 15 speciees of Mymaridae were described(among which, 2 species were new to science,1 specie was new record for China).The paper comprises three parts: General part, Geographical distribution and Fauna component, Taxonomic part.In General part, the taxonomic history, morphology, biology, hosts records and the application on the biological control etc. were briefly reviewed.In Geographical part,distribution, fauna component and the primary fauna analysis of Trichogrammatidae,Mymaridae from part region of Southern Xinjiang were discussed.In the Taxonomic part, 7 genera of Trichogrammatidae , 5 genera of Mymaridae from part region of Southern Xinjiang were diagnosed and keyed for both sexes. In each genus the following information was given: 1) generic synonymy; 2) geographic distribution; 3) diagnosis; 4) the historical review and the present species; 5) hosts; 6) species known from China. When the genus was studied in detailed, a key to the included species from the South Xinjiang area(if species more than 2) and full descriptions of each species were proposed, all the species were illustrated in detail. In addition, an illustrated overview of morphology of the 2 families was presented to acquaint readers with basic structures.A list of the genera and species under each genus treated in this paper were as follows:Trichogrammatidae :1.
