Research On Effect Of Grazing On Growth Of Caragana Plantation And Undergrowth Vegetation

In this paper, it is the research object that the sprayed seeding Caragana shrub of semi-arid regions in Ulanqab Chayouhou Banner, compared to the natural grassland (ck), we took sampling methods in a typical plot , and analysised the impact on grazing on Caragana plantation and undergrowth vegetation,, the main conclusions were as follows:(1) Caragana whose height, tree crown and young shoot increasement in Grazing prohibition areas and grazing areas was higher than manual picking area; branch number and the yearly process of tuft size growth in manual picking area is similar to the grazing prohibition areas , they are increasing type, while the grazing areas show the growth slowly during May to July and negative growth during July to October.(2) Grazing prohibition areas and manual picking area total biomass of the ground area than the large grazing areas, but the edible part of the grazing area will be the proportion of the total dry weight is better than grazing prohibition areas and manual picking area.(3) The order of the the total cover of plots'the size : grazing prohibition areas > ck> grazing areas > manual picking area.(4) It is seen that we used the SAS to variance analysis of Grazing on the Growth of Caragana, the average length of Caragana's young shoot is influenced obviously by the grazing; while the Caragana's height, tree crown, tuft size and the number of branches are no significant effect .The principal component analysis can be indicated that both the Height and Tree crown are reached cumulative contribution rate by 96.73%, so we surveyed the growth conditions , we found these two factors can reflect the strengths and weaknesses of trees.(5) It is showed that the undergrowth vegetation analysis: the grazing on species composition and important values of undergrowth vegetation have a certain impact. In the ck where the biggest advantage of the Section is the Gramineae, while the three other plots is the Chenopodiaceae. The species'life form makes a difference from Caragana plantation and ck .Compared with the ck, the species and important values of the middle or lower plants in shrub grassland are increased. the order of the size of Species diversity index : ck> grazing prohibition areas > manual picking area >grazing area. It is the biggest that Community'similarity of manual picking area and grazing prohibition areas, and the minimum similarity is a grazing area and ck.The total coverage were as follows: ck > grazing prohibition areas > manual picking area >grazing area . The biomass size of the order: grazing prohibition areas > manual picking area >grazing area> ck.(6) We graze and use the Planted grass properly in the growing season , can promote Caragana branches increased to improve the growth status.
