This thesis introduces the overall structure of GPRS communication system, including the hardware of the ARM processor LPC2138 and MC39i communication module, the PIC16LF73 low-power consumption control power circuit interface ;programs lower computer data acquisition and communication procedures; designs hardware circuit of MC39i modules and embedded S3C2410A microprocessor, transplants the Windows CE operating system, using Visual Stidio 2005 prepares host computer communication,data management and information publishing software.GPRS wireless communication technology is upgrading technology of GSM.Wireless grouping switching technology is characteristic functions of GPRS,compared with traditional GSM communication mode,GPRS has the following advantages:higher data transmission rate,supporting point to point communication service,fast data transmission rate,shortened accessing network time,etc,GPRS communication technology is suitable for water conservancy information wireless data transmission situation of irrigated districts.According to water conservancy information detection and characters of publicing system in irrigated districts,this thesis apply short message function of SMS contained in GPRS communication technology to water conservancy information wireless detection and data transmission system of irrigated districts,while select the mature product made by siemens as GPRS module.Irrigation water monitoring and information dissemination is key to optimal allocation of irrigation water resources technology. This is the main problem facing by the development of current irrigation district detection and publishing system.This thesis analyses the characteristics of irrigation water monitoring and publishing system, applies the short message function contained in GPRS communication technology into wireless detection and data transmission system of irrigation district water conservancy information,while selects MC39i made by Siemens as GPRS communication module.The system is consist of wireless monitoring and control unit, communication module, GPRS networks, data publishing, receiving center. Lower computer wireless monitoring and control platform includes microprocessor, the sensor module, the main task is to complete water regime data acquision, processing, data transmission and data transmission etc.Tests indicates that: utilize short message data transmission function of GPRS in the district with disperse control points and small single data transmission, solves various problems in water regime information detection system in irrigation district,which is an important method for water regime information detection and data wireless transmission.
