Study On Beijing Urban Forestry Risk Factors' Comparison And Analysis

As a primary contributor of urban ecosystem, urban forest plays an important role in safeguarding and improving the urban forest ecosystem. Therefore, the maintenance and improvement of urban forest's ecological function is fundamental to a city's sustainable development. Closely related to human life, urban forest is the indispensable part of city dwellers'living environment. Compared with its counterparts in other areas, urban forest is affected more by human activities. Apart from drought, damage by pests and insects, fire, wind blast as well as other natural disasters, it is also influenced negatively by high-temperature peculiar to cities, radiation, pollution, traffic emission etc.As the capital of China, Beijing, especially influenced by Green Olympic, has been making great progress in the urban forest building. However, with immense improvement noted, risks and obstacles of developing urban forest should also be paid close attention. Based on the review of the history urban forest development and its risk identification frame, this article initiatively classified the influence factors of urban forest risks into three categories:natural ones, the man-made as well as socio-economic ones. And weights these factor by Analytic Hierarchy Process. Furthermore, the author takes fire and pests damage as examples, carries out quantitative risk analysis. Probability model in environmental statistics is applied to in the risk analysis and forecast. Then, suggestions and recommendations for risk control of urban forest are put forward in the end.
