Gamma ray exposure deinsectization is one of effective methods in the current many physical preventing and controlling technology.Research the damage mechanism of gamma ray exposure deinsectization,explore the relationship between insect egg cell radiation biology effect caused by gamma ray radiation and radiation dose,seek the suitable radiation dose,can provide theoretical data for the research and the practical application of gamma ray exposure deinsectization.This research use the different dose gamma ray exposure gypsy moth larva;use the molecular biology technology and the cytobiology technology and some other biology technology in studying the mechanism of the gypsy moth larva cell damage caused by gamma ray radiation then.The major damage the gamma ray exposure to the gypsy moth larva is to its chromosome damage.Three methods were introduced in the experiments to research biological effects of radiation caused by different doses of gamma ray radiation.One is the DNA gel electrophoresis,the other is AO super vital staining,and the last is trypan blue staining.The research indicated that,the gypsy moth larva hatchability obviously reduces with the increasing gamma ray radiation dose.The gypsy moth larva cell chromosome extent of damage has the obvious dose effect relations with the gamma ray radiation dose.Gamma ray can break gypsy moth larva DNA to become smaller DNA fragments.Increases with the gamma ray radiation dose,the chromosome fragments become smaller,cell chromosome are seriously damaged,thus causes the cell division is delayed,even some cells stop splitting,until death. Moreover,the gypsy moth larva cell survival rate also has obviously dose effect relations with gamma ray radiation dose.After gamma ray radiation,the gypsy moth larva cell chromosome extent of damage and the cell survival percentage are all good correlation with the larva hatching rate,three finally obtained conclusions tally.Namely works as when the exposure dosage is one value between 300Gy and 400Gy,both may guarantee the deinsectization effect,and cannot make the exposure dosage excessively to be high.Suitable radiation dose of gamma ray can be an effective method for pest controlling.It provides theoretical data for the physical deinsectization.It also provides an effective method for pest controlling,food exposure processing,the import and export of agricultural products. After thorough research,it will certainly to become an important method for pest controlling in many realm of production and life.
