Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi is the perennial herb of Labiatae and Scutellaria,its root is used as medicine and it's one of the most important medicinal plants,and after modern research indicates that its value of anti-HIV,anti-cancer and anti- oxidation and so on,medical science institution has payed more and more attention to it's application and exploitation,so,its quantity of requirement increases sharply. According to its gradually increase of preparation variety,wild S.baicalensis hasn't been satisfied with the need of industrialized production in batches,so we can only deal this problem with artificial cultivation.And we know that different harvested time and cultivation environment and so on can have direct influence on the quality,yield of medicinal plants and the reasonable protection,application and exploitation of natural resources in the measures of cultivation,So,this thesis investigated the ecological adaptability of quality formation of medicinal plants of S.baicalensis from the point of view of chemical ecology,and it can provide foundation for the standardized cultivation and persistent development of S.baicalensis.The main empirical method and results were as follows:1.In order to illuminate the ecological adaptability of quality formation of medicinal plants of S. baicalensis,cultivated S.baicalensis in three different ecotopes of Linjiang,Changchun and Taonan, researched its variation rule of quality and then determined the ecological condition which fitted its growth. The results indicated that the highest baicalin content of S.baicalensis of the first year was Taonan,and the lowest was Linjiang.The second year baicalin content of Changchun was higher notably than the others,and the second year baicalin content of Taonan was the lowest,and its baicalin content of the second year was lower than the first year.The baicalin content of the third year of Changchun and Linjiang had no significant deviation.Changchun was suitable for cultivating S.baicalensis on the base of overall comparison of three ecotopes.As for Changchun,the second year baicalin content of S.baicalensis roots was higher in May,the middle ten days and last third of August till the beginning of September,then dropped sharply,and risen a little till October.The baicalin content of the second year and third year had no significant deviation.Because of S.baicalensis got into productive growing period in May and the biomass added sharply.So,we recommended that the harvested time is the the middle ten days of August till the beginning of September, and this way not only can guarantee the quality but also can added part yield.2.The study of the influence of different light on the quality of S.baicalensis,the light research setted up three light gradients,and studied the influence of different intensity of illumination(soil and water were same) on the quality of medicinal plants.The results indicated that in the condition of different light treatments,the baicalin content result was natural light(10000LX)>9000LX>3000LX,and the content of natural light was 7.85%,the content of 3000LX was 6.59%,and the difference was 1.27%,and the difference between treatments was significant extremely.In the condition of different light treatments,the total flavonoids content result was natural iight(10000LX)>9000LX>3000LX and the content of natural light was 18.31%,the content of 3000LX was 16.07%,and difference was 2.24%,and the difference between treatments was significant extremely.So,we can know that the stronger of the light,the higher of the baicalin content.3.The study of the influence of different water on the quality of S.baicalensis, setted up 4 water supply gradients by simulating the amount of precipitation of three ecotopes,and studied the influence of different amount of precipitation(soil and light were same) on the quality of S.baicalensis. The results indicated that the baicalin content of roots,350mm>250mm>450mm>150mm.The content of total flavonoids,350mm>450mm>250mm>150mm.And these results indicated that light drought treatment can promote the synthesis of baicalin,and serious drought treatment or plenty water supply treatment inhibitted it and content of the active ingredients was lower.So,the cultivation of S.baicalensis should be choosen in the regions of precipitation raging from 300mm to 400mm.,setted up 5 water supply periodicities on the base of determination of the best water supply quantum,and studied the influence of water supply periodicity on the quality of S.baicalensis.The results indicated that the active ingredients accumulation of S. baicalensis roots achieved the maximum on the base of the periodicity that every 10 days a once,and the difference was significant extremely compared with other 4 treatments separately.These results demonstrated that environment of moderate drought was suitable for the growth of S.baicalensis.3.The study of the influence of different fertilizer on the quality of S.baicalensis,devised two kinds of treatments of routine fertilizer and trace elements,and studied the influence of different fertilizer treatments on the quality of S.baicalensis.The results indicated that N fertilizer had little influence on quality,the baicalin content has no significant deviation when manure quantum was from 0g to 1.304g,and it dropped notably when manure quantum was 1.843g,and this result indicated that overdose of P fertilizer would impact on the baicalin content.The content of treatment 3 was the highest in the K fertilizer treatment,and the difference was significant.Compared with other treatments,and the results demonstrated that the effect of treatment 3 was the best,K0.885g,N1.683g,P0.765g every pot viz.each result had no significant deviation among Cu fertilizer in the treatments of trace elements.The baicalin content was the highest when manure quantum was 225mg/pot,and the difference was significant extremely compared with other treatments when except treatment 1(45mg/pot) in the treatment of Zn fertilizer,and had no significant deviation with treatment 1(45mg/pot),so the results demonstrated that the best manure quantum of Zn fertilizer should be 45mg/pot. The baicalin content was the highest when the manure quantum was 50mg/pot and the difference was not significant compared with other treatments when except treatment 1 and 5 in the treatment of Fe fertilizer.
