Prevalence And Curative Effect Of Trypanosoma Evansi On Buffalo In The Dongtinghu Region

Trypanosomiasis caused by Trypanosoma evansi(T.evansi) is parasited on the plasma.All mammals are susceptible with T.evansi.T.evansi usually infects cattle,Buffalo.It can causes the cattle subclinical infection,anemia, Progressing emaeiation et al.In order to control the Trypanosomiasis,on the basement of epidemiology of Trypanosomiasis on baffulo in Dongtinghu region,the 4 drugs used curled the Trypanosomiasis of baffulo.1.Through observing clinical pathology,microscopic observation of blood smears,Trypanosomiasis was inestigation in order to know the baffulo's infection in the Dongtinghu region.The result showed that infectious rate of Trypanosomiasis in Li county,Ding cheng,Lin li county,Xi-dongting, Qianlianghu farm,Junshan farm,Huarong county were 1.5%,2.3%,1.3%,8.7 %,10.2%,3.8%and4.5%respectively.2.Through normal temperature and refrigerator,T.evansi were preserved in order to know the pathogenicity.The result showed that on the preserved condition of 1-2day on normal temperature and refrigerator,and 21℃,18-24 hours,the mice can cause death by T.evansi. 3.Trough animal-inoculation test using blood include T.evansi,in order to know the mortality of mice.The result showed that on the condition 18℃,1h,the intensity of infection were 4600;on the condition 18℃,12h,the intensity of infection were 1.25million;on the condition 28℃,80min,the intensity of infection were 19 ten thousand.The result of artificial infection demonstrated that T.evansi was the rule appearance-disappearance-appearance again.4.Trough Antricide,Berenil,Naganol and Trypamidine,the Curative effect were investiged.The result showed that Naganol was the best curative effect.
