| As a new analytic method with simpleness,speediness and exactness,near infrared reflectance spectroscopy(NIRs) is increasingly used in feed industry.The NIRs was compared with chemical method in measuring six nutritive index:crude protein(CP), crude fat(ether extract,EE),crude ash,moisture,neutral detergent fiber(NDF) and acid detergent fiber(ADF) of eleven feed ingredients:soybean meal,yellow corn,fish meal, rapeseed meal,peanut meal,cottonseed meal,corn gluten meal,wheat middling and reddog,dried distillers grain soluble(DDGS),corn germ feed,and wheat flour in this article.The results showed that in soybean meal,yellow corn and fish meal,the relative errors of test values of most nutritive index were less than 5%(P>0.05),and the correlation coefficients(r)were more than 0.9(P<0.01)across the NIRs and wet chemical analyzing methods using the same samples.The test values of six nutritive index in corn gluten meal,DDGS,corn germ feed,wheat middling and reddog,and wheat flour were no differences across the two different analyzing methods using the same samples(P>0.05), and the correlation coefficients(r) were positively correlated(P<0.01 or P<0.05).The results suggested that NIRs could be used to measure the contents of nutritive index in soybean meal,yellow corn,fish meal,corn gluten meal,DDGS,corn germ feed,wheat middling and reddog,and wheat flour.However,the NIRs calibration models for analyzing the crude fat,neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber in rapeseed meal,peanut meal, and cottonseed meal should be modified.In this article,the relative errors of test values of CP and moisture were less than 5% (P>0.05),and the correlation coefficients(r) were more than 0.9(P<0.01) across the NIRs and wet chemical analyzing methods using the same samples in almost all eleven feed ingredient.The results demonstrated that NIRs could be used in measuring the contents of CP and moisture in feed ingredient.But the NIRs calibration models for analyzing the crude fat in feed ingredient should be modified.In conclusion,it is feasible to use NIRs as a rapid and an accurate technique on simultaneous determination nutritive index of feed ingredients.These calibration models could meet the needs of feed quality evaluation in feed industry. |
