With the fast development of industry and agriculture,people pay more attention to environment around us.Thus,it becomes the most important research area to produce useful products for human and environment,using waste residue and waste water from industry and agriculture.Recently,some techniques for producing sing cell protein (SCP)via waste residue and waste water from industry and agriculture have been developed,but many problems still exist in widely applied. Especially,although some research institutes have done research on how to process waste residue and waste water from the deep processing of potato,there are many problems in the complete biodegradation of waste residue and the productive rate of SCP,such as incomplete biodegradation,chemical degradation causing secondary pollution, enzyme degradation raising cost,and low productive rate of SCP and so on.The aim of this paper is to raise the productive rate of SCP and completely biodegrade waste residue of potato in order to convert waste residue to useful resource.Here raw material is industrial waste residue of potato.Our methods are:first,to select best stains;second,the fermentation experiments of single-strain;third,the fermentation experiments of multi-strain and the designation of zymotechnique.The results of these experiments are as follows:(1)Aspergillus niger,Aspergillus oryzae,and Trichoderma viride can degrade potato residue very well.Because Geotrichum candidum, Saccharomyces cerevisiae,Candida tropicalis,and Candida utilis are high in protein,they are good strains to produce SCP.(2)Studying on the conditions of the fermentation,the best conditions are as follows:the ratio of potato residue,the water of wheat bran and water is 87:11:12(m:v:v);the rotational speed is 180rpm;the fermenting temperature is at 30℃and the fermenting volume is 1/2.(3)In the experiments of single-strain fermentation,the best effective strain is Aspergillus oryzae,as it can completely degrade potato residue in 72 hours.At this moment the productive rate of protein is up to 7.776g/L.After fermentation of Aspergillus oryzae,the crude protein content is 10 times higher.The yield of crude protein is 1.82 times higher.(4)In the experiments of multi-strain fermentation,mixing Aspergillus oryzae and Aspergillus niger is very effective in biodegrading waste residue of potato,and the productive rate of protein is up to 8.292g/L.While the yeasts are added to the fermentation process,the best group is mixing with Candida tropicalis,Candida utilis,Aspergillus oryzae and Aspergillus niger together,as they can completely degrade potato residue in 96 hours and the productive rate of protein is up to 10.541g/L.That is,after multi-strain fermenting,the crude protein content rises from 3.56%to 30.674%,and the yield of crude protein is 2.47 times higher.(5)To apply this study into industrial production,the paper designs the zymotechnique of producing feed protein by multi-strain fermenting potato residue.
