The desert shrub requires cutting and rejuvenation when it grows old enough .however , traditional brush breakers are hard to meet the needs of cutting because of the properties of desert shrub and its growing environment. At present, brush breakers having good performance haven't been produced for the reason of hard development technology, high investment and low return.According to these reasons ,a design plan of brush breakers is put forward on the paper .it introduces mechanical arm structure to sovle the problem of shape cutting.After behavior analysis of cutting shrub ,the analysis model of power for cutting shrub is built ,and the cutting device of rotatingtype is designed.The digitalization design technology is brought in the design process of cutting device , improving the design quality and shortting the development cycle.First , the parameterization model of the cutter is built and assemble using Pro/Engineer ;and the model is transformed in ADAMS where kinetic and dynamic analysis are adopted. then obtain curves of hydraulic motor's output torque ,output power and pressure curve of oil supply on the condition of no-load and maximum load. Besides the structure parameters and analysis method are obtained for the advanced physical prototype and product seriation development . It offers references for the design and produce of desert shrub breakers.
