3S Technique In Application Of The Second Type Survey

According to the aim and task of the second type survey about forest resource, The study ascertained the area and object of investigation, using the modern investigation means of technique about"3S", namely remote sensing image interpret land type,standing forest factor, accumulation capacity utilizing regression estimation, locating verification by GPS to investigate forest limits, and regulating the management plan, all kinds of land areas and forest, forest accumulation condition in the range of administration. Investigated the ecological factors and natural geographical environment related with forest resources, constructed information management system about forest resource, and analysis evaluation on the condition of forest resources in Shaanxi province.The results showed that: the area of forest land was increasing, the area of non-forest land was decreasing; Forest land including forest land, sparse forest land. The area of young forest land was increasing, and the area of fitting forest was decreasing; It's increasing for the forest rate of cover was increasing. Young, middle and near mature, the mature forest was decreasing. The resource of stand-by resource was sufficient. The capacity of accumulation was sustainable increasing overall; the forest resource went into healthy cycle.The characteristics of forest resources were analyzed and estimated in this study, and the conclusions as following:①the area proportion of forest land was large, and the developmental space of forestry was openness;②the immature forest land was large, and the rate of afforesting and greening of forestry would be boosting;③the projects of convert arable land to forestry was high quality and ecological benefits were obvious;④the area of young forest land was large, the offspring resources was sufficient;⑤the resources of red jujubes was sufficient and it's industrial foreground was width;⑥the ecological location was important, and the area of public forest was large, but the capacity of protection was low.According to the basic condition of forest resources in research region, we bring forward the proposition of protecting forest resources, and offer some experiences for sustainable using and management of forestry in future.
