Primary Study Of Tray-soilless Seedling On Vegetables And Proposals In Wuxi City

Aimed at the actual problems on tray-soilless seedling in WuXi city, effect of differentfilms, substrates and electrical lines on cabbage, tomato and water melon etc. were studied.The results showed:1. It is necessary to choose long-life and no-dripping films or above when producingall year in tray-soilless, seedling, and choose special films on link-ridgepole greenhousewhich could be used more than 2 years. On the other hand, the eliminating-fog film canalso be used for reducing the humidity and mitigating the disease in greenhouse.2. The seedlings breed with substrates contained organic nutrition would grow better,So we should add the organic nutrition into substrates for producing high quality ofseedling especially in mass-production. Our results suggested the following prescriptionwas optional: proportion of slag, bran ash and cottonseed shell was 1:1:1, additional 4kg/m~3disinfected chicken shit involved, and the substrate of Zhenjiang Reed residue when addingdisinfected chicken shit was also desirable.3. Air-add-temperature lines should be used on tray-soilless seedling in spring andwinter for overcoming the disadvantage of the polystyrene tray to improve quality ofseedling.This paper also summarized the course of development, the current status andachievement on industrialization of tray-soilless seedling in WuXi city, and gives someadvices.
