Grafted cucumber seedling were exposed under different moisture gradients (water capacity is 85%, 65% and 45% respectively) to investigate the responses of its root system development and growth redundancy. The result showed that compares with the cucumber grafted itself, fresh and dry weight of the part above & under the ground, root to top ratio (R/T),root activity, the total root-absorbing area , the root active-absorbing area and the volume of total root of cucumber grafted seedling are bigger under the same moisture content gradient. The weight accumulation of cucumber grafted seedling of the part above are almost same under the water capacity 85% and 65%.What is more,R/T65%
