| Wood vinegar,as a natural agricultural material, is used more and more extensively on agricultural field. However, the mechanism of wood vinegar to the crops output and quality formation needs further research. In this paper, Six potato varieties, Helan 15, Atlantic grown in field and Bora, Gogu, R-chip, Jinyin 8 grown in tissue culture room were treated with different concentrations of wood vinegar. It investigated the influence of wood vinegar on the metabolism regulation of potato growth. The results are as follows:1.For materials grown in field, plant height, width, ratio of seedling emergence, stem width and leaf area were estimated at mature stage. Yield and ratio of large potatoes were determined at maturity. The results showed that the effect of wood vinegar on potato was obvious at growth stage. Wood vinegar improved plant height, width and leaf area. The effects of wood vinegar on potatoes were various with different concentration and there were differences between varieties. Wood vinegar was absorbed obviously by leaf for Helan 15, while leaves and main stem had prominent absorption for Atlantic. Relatively speaking, 1.0g/L of wood vinegar had more evident effect than 0.5g/L of wood vinegar.2.Tissue cultural seedlings, Jinyin 8, Bora, Gogu and R-chip treated with 0g/L, 0.2g/L, 0.4g/L, 0.6g/L, 0.8g/L and 1.0g/L were compared on activities of Catalase( CAT), Ascorbate peroxidease (APX), Ascorbate (Vc), Superoxide dismutase (SOD), proline and the content of soluble protein. The results showed that 0.6g/L, 0.2g/L, 0.2g/L, 0.4g/L had remarkable effect on CAT activity of Gogu, Bora, R-chip and Jinyin 8 respectively. Activity of CAT in Gogu, Bora, R-chip was higher than in Jinyin 8. While Bora, Gogu, R-chip and Jinyin 8 treated with 0.2g/L, 0.4 g/L, 0.4 g/L and 0.8 g/L of wood vinegar got the highest Vc content respectively. Wood vinegar had small effect on APX activity of all the six varieties. The content of proline, superoxide dismutase and soluble protein were improved when treated with certain concentration range of wood vinegar in potato.In a word, wood vinegar has prominent effect on the agricultural characterization and some chemical indexes of potato. Different varieties need different concentration of wood vinegar. |
