| Forest resource is the material base of forest product; forest resource information management is the most import management in forest. The big amount of county forest management units, low forestry informatization lever and the staff with low level of competence result in many problems in forest informatization in China. The forest resource management method in Renshou is rather out-of-date, which can not meet the new management need in nowadays while a large number of original forest data have been accumulated. It's necessary to construct the Renshou Forest Resource Management Information System to improve the efficiency of forest production and management in Renshou.ComGIS opens a new stage of GIS technical development, and it represents a trend of current GIS. On the basis of the standard component platform, GIS function modules are divided into several controls, each control finishes different function. Each between GIS controls, non-GIS controls, basic components and professional components cannot only be recombined freely and flexibly, but also has visual interface Object-Oriented and standard interface easy to use, which makes the systematic development and software integration easy, really realizing "code reusing" and "component". ArcGIS Engine technique is based on a group of complete and packed embedding GIS component library and tools library which have no relation with platform and can be used in varied programming interface. Plentiful functions as many as ArcGIS can be got with practiced usage of component library by developer.This study is based on of the forest resource data and requirements of the Renshou Bureau of Forestry. According to the thinking of software engineering and requirement analysis, the study is including overall design, database design, function design, interface design. Adopting C/S(Client/Server) structure and Visual C++6.0 language, applying ArcGIS Engine 9.0 component, ArcSDE9.0 and SQL Server 2000, the system has friendly interfaces, strong practicability, simple operation, convenience, ect. The efficiency of production and management of forest has greatly improved since the system was put into use in Renshou Bureau of Forestry.There are some further jobs to be done to continue the perfect function, such as spatial analysis, remote sensing image processing and web applications. |
