Using the method of"random sampling in typical colonies of the central area of the habitat", 61 Hu sheep,60 Tan sheep and 123 Ujumqin sheep were sampled respectively in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province; Ninxia Hui Nationality municipality and Ujumqin, Mogolia municipality. Using the method of PCR-SSCP and microsatelliate techniques to detect the variations in three sheep breeds above. The results indiacate that:1. The polymorphism of FSHR gene was analyzed in Hu sheep, Tan sheep and Ujumqin sheep, the result indicated that there was no mutation .2. The 1387~1587bp of exon 10 of FSHR gene was firstly sequenced in Ujumqin sheep.3. Two primers were designed to detect the polymorphism of GDF9 gene in three sheep breeds above. For primer 1, only AA genotype was detected. For primer 2, AA and AB genotype was observed, but the result of sequencing indicated that there were no mutation.4. OarAE101 and BM1329 were examined by the method of microsatelliate techniques. The numbers of allele gene(Ne) of OarAE101/BM1329 were 10/8,11/5 and 12/8 , respectively. The average polymorphism information contents(PIC) of OarAE101/BM1329 were separately 0.8961/0.7127, 0.8760/0.7565 and 0.8253/0.6667. The heterozygosities(h) of OarAE101/BM1329 valued 0.9010/0.7484, 0.8867/0.7832 and 0.8405/0.7120 , respectively。5. The detection of OarAE101 and BM1329 indicated that the PCR products of OarAE101 were all higher than 113 bp, and this may be the difference between higher fecundity sheep and lower fecundity sheep. The examination of BM1329 showed that there was no obvious diversity among the three sheep populations...
