Studies On Relationship Between Forming Crown By Sprouting Of Lateral Buds And Cultivating High Quality Stem Wood By Smearing Buds To Extent Trunk In Paulownia Trees

In this paper,in order to solve the problem of large crown and lower trunk in Paulownia trees relationship between forming crown by sprouting of lateral buds and cultivating high quality stem wood by smearing buds to extent trunk was studied,the results are as follows:①Branching sprouted from different quantity lateral buds under truck extension, there are extremely significant difference between the length and diameter at disposals of the truck extension. At prophase of trunk extension, the trunk extension growth at main trunk direction while a appropriate number of lateral buds were kept. There are significant difference among DBH, height and volume. The more lateral buds of 2-year-old seeding, the more growth of main trunk, the less growth of trunk extension. ②When only pair of lateral buds sprouted were kept at different position under trunk extension, there are significant difference between the length and diameter at different disposal levels of trunk extension. There are not significant difference among DBH, height and volume. When the first lateral buds sprouted were kept under trunk direction, the growth of trunk extension was negative influence by the bloom growth of the first pair lateral buds, the length and diameter of trunk extension were reduced. The growth of lateral buds represent: the lower position, the bigger angle between lateral buds and main trunk, the extended lateral buds. So the position of lateral buds were reasonable collocate that the illumination and the special resource were the greatest used by the individual. ③Three pairs of lateral buds sprouted were kept while only pair of lateral buds were cut at different position, there are not significant difference between the length and diameter at different disposal levels of trunk extension. At the same time, there are not significant difference among DBH and volume. The relationship between the growth of trunk extension and lateral buds which the distance was the nearest was the most osculation. The correlate relationship was declined by the distance augment. ④When two pairs of lateral buds sprouted were reserved under trunk extension, the relationship between the growth of the length of trunk extension and the growth of the second side branching is osculation, while the relationship between the growth of the diameter of extension trunk and the third side branch. ⑤Principal component analysis, the accumulative contribute ratio add to 96.5%,and the contribute ratio of the first principal component-it include the length of extension trunk and breast diameter- add to 68.7%.The result of colligate grade indicate that the disposals in which there were three lateral buds under the extension trunk, the disposal which reserved two lateral buds and the disposal which reserve no one lateral buds are...
