Liriope (Ophiopogon japonicus (L.f.)Ker-Gawl) is liliaceous plant and a typical chinese herbs, and the continous cropping obstacle of plant of liriope in cultivation has became a impotant problem. We investigated the espression of continous cropping obstacle in liriope, and researched the cause of the continous cropping obstacle, to solve this peoblem. The results showed as:(1) The espression of continous cropping obstacle in Liriope as: the yield of liriope decline, the yield of the normal and continous cropping liriope were 531 g/m2 and 375 g/m2.(2) Using the rhizosphere bacterial diversity indices, the fingerprint of its PCR-DGGE and principal component analysis, We monitor the dynamic variation of microbial communities in the liriope rhizosphere of normal rotation and continous cropping. The rhizosphere bacterial diversity indices at December between normal and continous cropping liriope was the same, but the community structure of them was significant difference, which suggested that the shift of rhizosphere microbial communities was the the espression of continous cropping obstacle in liriope.(3) Analysis the potental cause of liriope continous cropping obstacle at pot trail, All treatments can reduce the yield of liriope, the orde from high to low as normal rotation, inoculating cultured fungus, inoculating cultured bacteria, the water exaction of continuous cropping soil, tuberous root, leaves and continuous cropping . That suggested the main cause of liriope continous cropping obstacle was the matter in the proceeding liriope soil.(4) With the rhizosphere bacterial diversity indices declining, the yield of liriope decrease, that suggested the yield of liriope related to the rhizosphere bacterial diversity indices. Morever, the structure of rhizosphere bacterial was also related to the yield of liriope. It suggested that the rhizosphere bacterial diversity could be the index of predicting yield and contribute to the solving the liriope continous cropping obstacle.
