In this paper, the influence of different soil moisture content and seeding time on the germinate rate of Perilla frutescns L. and the influence of different time of illumination, planting densities and N application rates on the production of Perilla frutescns L. were comparatively studied. The result showed the seeds of Perilla frutescns L. did not germinate until the soil moisture content reached 50%. The seeding time was suitable both in spring and autumn. The time of illumination which lasted 15h and over and was ensured by electrical lighting had a significant inhibiting effect on the flower bud differentiation of Perilla frutescns L.. The suitable planting density (line spacing×row spacing) was 40cm×30cm, and the reasonable range of N application rate was 450~600kg/hm~2.The suitable cultivation technique of Perilla frutescns L. in greenhouse was analyzed comprehensively and comparatively and the pollution-free and high efficiency cultivation technique orders of greenhouse Perilla frutescns L. in Fujian province were made in this paper.
