Bermudagrass[Cynodon. Dactylon(L.)Pers.] is a kind of Perennial warm season grass with developed stolons and rhizomes, widely distributed in warm semi-humid zone, warm wet zone in the world. By taking the two Bermudagrass new species("Handan"common bermudagrass and"Baoding"common bermudagrass) selected by Agricultral university of Hebei as the research objects: 1) The effect of different establishment methods of Bermudagrass on turf stands; 2) The effects of N and P fertilizers of Bermudagrass on turf stands. The main results are as follows:1.Three establishment methods of Stolonizing, Stolonizing in furrow and Plugging were evaluated in coverage rate, time of turf formation and uniformity with"Handan"common bermudagrass and"Baoding"common bermudagrass as vegetative meterials. The results indicated that Stolonizing and Stolonizing in furrow showed the best method for bermudagrass establishment. Stolonizing and Stolonizing in furrow are better than Plugging not only for the time of building up lawn but also the quality of lawn. But two species did not show the significantly different.2.Nitrogen can significantly speed up the pace Bermudagrass turf, shorten the turf time and nitrogen fertilizer in the 0~4 (g/m~2) range, with the increase of nitrogen fertilizer, turf coverage increased, the shorter time of turf formation, HB,BB,HC and BC were significantly shorter in HCK and BCK. But no significant difference between different varieties. Stolon growth with increasing nitrogen application rate was accelerated, In the determination of the period,the fastest growth rate is HC and BC, while HCK and BCK are slowest growth rate of stolons. The same nitrogen treatments in both cultivars no significant differences. This is the determination of the natural growth height of results. The nitrogen treatments Clippings Results , the order of the eight treatments was HC> BC> HB> BB> HA> BA> HCK> BCK. Turf growth faster, the more the Clippings, indicating that the higher nitrogen fertilizer, turf clippings greater accumulation, the more vigorous turf growth, the shorter the turf time. Application of nitrogen fertilizer can increase bermudagrass leaf chlorophyll content and with the increase of the amount, HC and BC always maintain the highest content of chlorophyll. HB, HA, BB and BA were lower than the above two treatments, HCK and BCK has been processed at a lower level of chlorophyll content, but also Leaves also have varying degrees of yellow tip phenomenon. 3. Phosphorus can accelerate the speed of the turf formation, Shortened time of law turf formation. Phosphate fertilizer in the 0~8 (g/m~2) range, With the increase of Phosphate fertilizer,turf coverage increases, shorter time of turf formation, However, between each treatment was not significant differences. The different varieties are also no significant difference. Stolon growth with the increase of phosphate fertilizer may accelerate.In the determination of the period,the fastest growth rate is HC and BC , growth rate of stolon of HCK and BCK are slowest. The same phosphate treatments in both cultivars no significant differences. The natural growth height of bermudagrass of two species increased as the rates of fertilizers increased,but no significant difference between the treatments. For the treatment of different varieties, "Handan" bermudagrass height greater than the natural growth "of Baoding," Bermudagrass.But between two treatment is not significant differences. The period of turf formation, phosphate fertilizer has little effect for the natural growth height. With the increase of phosphate fertilizer, increasing the amount Clipping.But between each treatment was not significant differences,Similar to natural growth height. Phosphate fertilizer has little effect for vertical growth of bermudagrass. Effects of phosphate fertilizer can increase bermudagrass leaf chlorophyll content, and with the increase of the amount. "Handan" Bermudagrass chlorophyll content of HC has been higher than the other treatments within species, HC treatment was significantly higher than HCK chlorophyll content. "Baoding" Bermudagrass chlorophyll content of each treatment comparison, "Baoding" Bermudagrass is higher and "Handan" bermudagrass.But the difference was not significant.
