| Swine"high fever"disease is a kind of contagious disease which the true pathogen is unknown. It is characterized by high fever, anorexia, skin cyanosis, high morbidity,mortality clinically and have made enormous economics loss in pig industry in China. Since the first eases of swine high fever disease was reported in 2001 in WEIFANG. The disease spread rapidly to the surrounding territory, and it broke out in all county in WEIFANG in 2006. From then on, sows,fattening Pigs, and Piglets all can be infected by this kind of the disease and yet has been one of the most economically important diseases in pig industry in WEIFANG. In this paper, detailed epidemiological investigation of swine high fever disease was performed in WEIFANG through clinical, serological and pathogenic diagnosis.In order to make sure the causative pathogen of swine"high fever"disease, 20cases of swine"high fever"disease were detected by PCR, bacterial culture, and blood smearing. The results showed that positive rate of PRRSV, PCV, PPV, and CSFV were 100%, 40%, 40%, and 10% respectively, SIV and PCP were negative. Several stain bacteria were isolated from above samples.435 serum samples were collected from diseased pigs suffered from swine high fever disease in 8 intensive pig farms and 40 village households in LINQU, SHOUGUANG, ANQU, CHANGLE, QINGZHOU countries of WEIFANG. The antibodies against pig contagious pleuropneumonia, porcine reproductive and respiratory virus and porcine PVC -2 were detected by ELISA kits. The results showed that antibody positive rate of PCP was 38.62%; the antibody positive rate of PCV-2 was 15.2%, and the antibody lf positive rate of PRRSV was 8.97%. In routine work, the antibody regular rate of classical swine fever (CSFV) is 50%-60%.According to the results of epidemiological investigation of swine high fever disease in WEIFANG, apprehensive approach in control of this disease was developed by WEIFANG veterinary bureau, such as technique training, epidemic situation inspection, construction of security system. In intensive pig farms, swine high fever disease were under control by tactful importing breading pigs, all in and all out production model , reducing stress, keeping suitable breeding density, regular disinfection, vaccination and control of bacteria second infection. |
