Objective:Through the comparison of cotton-paved moxibustion and liquid nitrogen freezing method, we evaluate the therapeutic effect of cotton-paved moxibustion in the treatment of neurodermatitis (syndrome of wind and dampness stagnated in the skin) and provide a reference for clinical choice of external therapy. Methods:According to the randomized control principle, we divide 66 patient, who meet the integration standard, into two groups, tagging treatment group of 34 cases and control group of 32 cases. The treatment group are treated by cotton-paved moxibustion, while the control by liquid nitrogen refrigeration. Both groups take oral chinese herbal prescription of scorpio and externally use paeonol ointment for 4 weeks. After all treatment, we analyze the index observed and process the data by SPSS19.0 software. Results:After 4 weeks’ treatment, the total effective rate of treatment group is 96.87%, while control group 90.32%. And there is no significant difference between groups (P> 0.05). In the respect of Scaling down the lesion, there is no significant difference between groups (P> 0.05). In the respect of relieving itching and the thickness of lesion, treatment group is much better than control group (P< 0.05). During the period of treatment, no serious adverse event is found in both groups. Conclusion:The study shows that, the methods used to treat neurodermatitis (syndrome of wind and dampness stagnated in the skin) in both groups are effective. In the respect of relieving itching and the thickness of lesion, the cotton-paved moxibustion shows a priority to liquid nitrogen freezing method, and is safer. |
