Clinical Study On Treatment Of Post - Stroke Swallowing Disorder With

Purpose:Observe the clinical effect of neck-acupuncture in treat the patient who were suffering from dysphagia after stroke.Method: 75 patients with swallowing disorder after stroke were chosen, 53 cases were male and 22 females, the oldest 75 years old, minimum 42 years, the longest duration of three months, the shortest 8 days, 59 cases of cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage in 16 patients. And then randomly and divided into treatment group 40 cases and control group 35 cases. Base on conventional medical foundation treatment. The treatment group was given neck-acupuncture combined with swallowing rehabilitation training, while the control group was only given swallowing rehabilitation training. After the end of treatment for one month, we carry on the curative effect appraisal. We imported the data into SPSS for statistical analysis.Results: The treatment group of 40 cases, 2 cases were cured, 26 cases markedly effective, effective 8 cases, invalid 4 cases, the total efficiency of 90%; control group of 35 cases, 1 cases were cured, 23 cases markedly effective, effective 6 cases, invalid 5 cases, the total efficiency of 85.7%. The treatment group swallowing recovery was much better than the control group. The treatment group swallowing disorders caused by pseudo-bulbar paralysis efficiency was 96.8%, swallowing disorders caused by bulbar palsy efficiency was 66.7%. The control group swallowing disorders caused by pseudo-bulbar paralysis efficiency was 89.6%, swallowing disorders caused by bulbar palsy efficiency was 54.4%.Conclusion:1. It is effective for neck-acupuncture training to treat dysphagia after stroke. 2.To compare with the only swallowing rehabilitation training,neck-acupuncture combined with swallowing rehabilitation training have a better effect. 3. Due to the overall efficacy of dysphagia than bulbar palsy. To compare with the onlyswallowing rehabilitation training,neck-acupuncture combined with bulbar palsy swallowing rehabilitation training have a better effect.
