| Purpose:Observe and evaluate the clinical efficacy by the using the Chinese medicine Zhitongsan combining with TDP specific electromagnetic irradiation to treat the LDH.Methods: 120 LDH patients who are cured with the non-surgical treatment at the Affiliated Hospital of the Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine during February, 2014 to August, 2014 are single-blind randomized and equally divided into experimental group and control group. Chinese medicine Zhitongsan combing with TDP specific electromagnetic irradiation are used in the experimental group for 2 weeks, while the pain bulk combing with TDP specific electromagnetic radiation are applied in the control group for 2 weeks. Have the random access to patients of the two groups before, after 2 weeks of the treatment and 3 months after the end of treatment to acquire the VAS score and the Oswestry value. The treatment efficacy is evaluated by statistically analyzing the VAS score and the Oswestry value.results: The follow-up data are gained from all the 120 patients after the whole treatment. The VAS score of 60 patients in the experimental group before, after a week of the treatment and 3months after the end of the treatment is(6.23±1.26).(2.44±0.96)and(2.45 ±0.91), respectively. The Oswestry value before,after a week of the treatment and 3months after the end of the treatment is(51.13±12.15),(28.95±10.15),(30.55±12.70),respectively. The P-value of the experimental group’s self comparison is lower than 0.05, indicating that the difference has statistical significance. The VAS score and the Oswestry value of 60 patients in the control group after a week of the treatment is(3.67±1.14)and(36.85±11.15), The P-value between the two groups’ comparison is lower than 0.05, indicating that the difference has statistical significance.Conclusion:The statistical results show that the Chinese medicine Zhitongsan combining with DP specific electromagnetic irradiation has credible efficacy on curing the LDH. |
