Objective:By discussing the improved conditions of Guyuanyangxuetang joint Xihuang capsules for breast cancer patients in stage IV with qi-blood deficiency in tumor size, syndrome of Chinese medicine and living quality, it is to explore the clinical curative effect of advanced breast cancer in traditional Chinese medicine treatment.Method:Adopt the prospective study method.60cases of women patients with stage IV breast cancer shall be included, random divided into30treatment groups and30control groups. Two groups of patients were observed42days as the course of treatment. Treatment group with Guyuanyangxuetang joint Xihuang capsule, every21days constituted a cycle, for2cycles,42days in all. Control group with oral chemotherapeutic drugs Capecitabine1250mg/m2doses, twice per day.2weeks treatment and1week drug withdrawal as1cycle. Continue to use drugs for2cycles as this course of treatment. Security index, adverse drug reaction shall be recorded during treatment. Improved conditions of Karnofsky perform status, tumor size and TCM symptoms shall be recorded the day before the treatment and two days after the treatment.Results:1. The improved conditions of TCM symptoms, comparing before and after treatment in the treatment group, P=0.000<0.05, comparing before and after treatment in the control group, P=0.052>0.05. the comparison between treatment group and control group’s after treatment showed P=0.001<0.05.2. The improved conditions of Living quality (KPS mark sheet), comparing before and after treatment in the treatment group, P=0.042<0.05. comparing before and after treatment in the control group, P=0.104>0.05.Comparing the two group after the clinic observation, P=0.03<0.05.3. The therapeutic evaluation of solid tumor, the total effective rate of treatment group16.7%is less than that of treatment group30%. The total control rate of treatment group63.3%is less than that of treatment group70%. But after the rank sum test, P> 0.05.4.Comparing the adverse reaction, the adverse reaction rate of treatment group13.3%is less than that of control group70%, P<0.05.Conclusion:1.On improving TCM clinic symptom of breast cancer patients in stage IV with qi-blood deficiency, Guyuanyangxuetang joint Xihuang capsules is better than that of Capecitabine.2. On improving the living quality of breast cancer patients in stage IV with qi-blood deficiency (Kasnofsky score as scoring criteria), Guyuanyangxuetang joint Xihuang capsules is better than that of Capecitabine.3. The adverse reaction of Guyuanyangxuetang joint Xihuang capsules for breast cancer patients in stage IV with qi-blood deficiency is far lower than that of Capecitabine.4. The curative effect of Guyuanyangxuetang joint Xihuang capsules for breast cancer solid tumor in stage IV with qi-blood deficiency is worse than that of Capecitabine.
