Clinical Study On Treatment Of Chronic Diarrhea (Spleen Deficiency Type) In Children

Objective:To observe Seven flavor powder and magnet at Acupoint on infants chronic diarrhea (spleen deficient type) clinical efficacy and safety, and make further discussion and exploration on its mechanism of action.Methods:Randomly divide the60infant patients who have meet with the diagnostic standards into two groups, one treatment group (Seven flavor powder and magnet at Acupoint on infants)with30infant patients, and one contrasting group(Seven flavor powder) with30infant’patients. Compare the two groups’differences on the following:the total clinical efficacy, TCM symptom score improvement, recurrence rate, time of taking effects, diarrhea ending time.Results:l.The clinical effect on the whole of Seven flavor powder and magnet at Acupoint on infants chronic diarrhea is100.0%,and cure rate is90.0%.But the clinical effect on the whole of contrasting group only using the Seven flavor powder is96.67%,and cure rate is63.33%.There are statistical significance between treatment group and contrasting group(P<0.05),and the treatment group do better than the contrasting group.2.On the point of TCM symptom score improvement, the treatment group’s score improvement before treatment is18.83±4.92,and the score improvement after treatment is1.03±3.61. The score improvement before treatment of contrasting group is19.10±4.40,and after treatment is5.03±7.48.There are Statistical difference P<0.05between both groups before being treated, and score improvements of both groups also have Statistical difference P<0.05after being treated, and the treatment group do better than the contrasting group.3.On the recurrence rate, the treatment group has none, and it’s recurrence rate is0, but the contrasting group has3, and it’s recurrence rate is10%,and the treatment group do better than the contrasting group. 4. On the time of taking effects the treatment group’s average time is36.03±21.21hours, but the contrasting group’s average time is52.14±24.38hours. According to the Statistical analyze, on the time of taking effects, P<0.05,and it obviously has Statistical Significance.5.0n diarrhea ending time, the treatment group is100.88±15.40hours, while the contrasting group is115.68±21.69hours, According to the Statistical analyze, on the time of diarrhea ending, P<0.05,and it has Statistical Significance.Conclusion:The treatment of Seven flavor powder and magnet at Acupoint on infants chronic diarrhea is good, and is better than only using the Seven flavor powder, what’s more, it’s safe.
