| Objective:The purpose of this article is to study TCM syndrome factor distribution of 200 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus,and to explore the correlation between the TCM syndrome factor and glycosylated hemoglobin levels.Methods:This study is by means of TCM syndrome questionnaire which bases on 200 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus,acquisition of the patient’s general information, information four diagnosis in traditional Chinese medicine and laboratory test results,and the last data inputting. The methods of statistical analysis are using Frequency Statistics to analyze the distribution of symptoms, using the Factor Analysis and Multivariate Statistical Analysis to explore the TCM syndrome factor,and using the Binary Logistic Regression Analysis to explore the correlation of the TCM syndrome factor and glycosylated hemoglobin.Results:1 The most common symptoms of 200 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes are in the order as following:Thirsty(with the percentage of 66.0%), Blurred Vision(with the percentage of 65.5%), Lack of Power(with the percentage of 62.5%),Lumbar Acid (with the percentage of 59.5%), Anxiety and Irritability (with the percentage of 58.0%), Spontaneous Perspiration(with the percentage of 50.5%),Skelasthenia (with the percentage of 50.0%), Dizzy(with the percentage of 49.0%), Dry Eye(with the percentage of 46.5%), Bitter Taste(with the percentage of 44.0%).2 The main weak syndrome elements of 200 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes are Qi deficiency, Yin deficiency and Yang deficiency, and the main strong syndrome elements are Internal heat,which including Drynessheat and Dampness-heat,Blood stasis,Qi depression,and Phleg-matic hygrosis.The syndrome elements of five internal organs all exist, ranking on the list are Kidney, Liver, Spleen,Lungs and Heart.Among 200 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes, the distribution of the nature of the disease syndrome elements are as follows:Qi-deficiency, Yin deficiency,Yang deficiency, Internal heat(including Dryness-heat and Dampness-heat),Blood stasis,Qi depression,and Phlegmatic hygrosis. The syndrome elements of the disease location of five internal organs are as follows:Kidney, Liver, Spleen, Lungs and Heart.3 The combination of syndrome elements is complex. According to the frequency of size sorting, the top five are as follows:three combinations,four combinations,two combinations,five combinations and six combinations.4 After exclude the influence of gender,age,genetic, the duration of diabetes,BMI,we can conclude that there exist correlation between Yin deficiency, dryness-heat, Dampness-heat with HbAic. In the 200 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes, patients with general blood glucose control the relative risk of suffering from Yin deficiency was 2.206 times that of patients with good blood glucose control,and patients with poor glycemic control the relative risk of suffering from Yin deficiency was 2.941 times that of patients with general blood sugar control.with HbAic ascengding per 0.1%,the incident rate of Dryness-heat increase 1.402 times,and the incident rate of Dampess-heat increase 1.252 times.In this study,there are no relationship between the complex extent of the combination of syndrome elements recently.5 Among 200 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes, the incidence rate of women suffering from disease location of Liver are higher than that of men. as BMI increasing,the incident rate of Yang deficiency diseases decrease,however the incident rate of Phlegmatic hygrosis increase. The incident rate of disease location of Spleen increase with the course of disease.Conclusion:1 The main weak syndrome elements patients with type 2 diabetes are Qi deficiency, Yin deficiency and Yang deficiency, and the main strong syndrome elements are Internal heat,which including Dryness-heat and Dampness-heat, Blood stasis, Qi depression,and Phlegmatic hygrosis.2 The syndrome elements of five internal organs all exist,which mainly are Kidney, Live,Spleen.3 There may exist relation between HbAic and Qi deficiency, Dampness-heat and Dryness-heat,whereas there are not any relation between the complex extent of the combination of syndrome elements and HbAic recently.4 There may exist relationship,they are as follows:disease location of Liver with sex, Yang deficiency, Phlegmatic hygrosis with BMI, disease location of Spleen with the course of disease. |
