Application Of Selective Goal Management In Scientific Research Management Of Military Hospital

With the sustainable development of market economy, our country’s medicaltreatment service market is becoming a competition intense market. As militaryhospitals, not only undertake the responsibility of healing the wounded and rescuing thedying, just same like local hospitals, but also provide medical security for the officersand soldiers. So, military hospitals are facing more pressure of competition, and moreheavy task. In order to improving comprehensive strength, the strength of scientificresearch cannot be ignored. In recent years, this hospital pays more attention toscientific research work, researches a theory of Management by selective objectives inpractice, and applies to scientific research work, makes remarkable results.Management by selective objectives comes from Management by objectives buthas difference with it, on the basis of overall objective of organization and developmentdemand at the present stage, decision maker decides selectively some target tasks thatmost emergency and necessary, then resolves every rank and department, even everyone,the whole target system is resolved into small target, so we can build network systemwhich every rank and department even everyone has target.Firstly, this article elaborates on the theory of Management by selective objectives,and uses SWOT analytical method analyzes this hospital’s strength and weakness inscientific research work, and opportunity and threat. Secondly, it introduces the theoryof Management by selective objectives in practice and the working method, andcompares scientific research work results in recent years. Finally, issues questionnaires,researches scientific staffs’ degree of cognition and satisfaction about Management byselective objectives, and bases on current situation and overall objective, takes targetedaction to improving the working method.The results of the study show that: no matter basic theory or working method ofManagement by selective objectives is right. The theory has positive effects onscientific research work, and it is worth be widespread.
