Objective To investigate the dynamic changes of serum interleukin-1β(IL-1β),tumor n ecrosis factor a (TNF-a), cyclooxygenase-2(COX-2)levels in patients with Acute gout y arthritis in different degrees to provide evidence for the course of anti-inflammator y drug used in patients with acute gouty arthritis. Methods Ninety patients with gouty arthritis were randomly selected which included sixty acute gouty arthritis patients and thirty gout patients in remission stage (observation group3). Sixty ac ute gouty arthritis pations divided into severe (observation group1) and mild (observation group2) subgroups according to the chief complaint of pain score points (VRS-4method). All acute go uty arthritis patients were given the same dose and duration of etoricoxib and colchicine(14days in all). Serum IL-1β, TNF-a, COX-2levels were detected by ELISA after the onset of the1th,3th,7th,10th,14th day.The2-tailed independent samples t test was used for measurement data. AN OVA were accepted Between groups comparing. Results These serum levels of IL-1β, TNF-a in observation group1,2were significantly higher than that in the control group in the1th to7th days (P<0.01), and nearly completely back t o normal at the10th to14th day after anti-inflammatory therapy; Serum COX-2levels in obse rvation group1,2were significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.01) in the1th t o3th day, and return to normal at the7th to10th day after anti-inflammatory therapy, There ar e no significant differences between observation group3and the control group(t=-0.880,-1.201,-0.548; P=0.383,0.235,0.586).②The serum levels of IL-1β,TNF-a were significantly highe r in observation group1Than that in the observation group2[(24.1±4.6) pg/ml and (18.8±3.2) pg/ml,(323±84) ng/ml and (234±29) ng/ml; P=0.001,0.002], while there was no significant di fferences between observation group2and the control group (P=0.357);Serum COX-2levels in observation group1were significantly higher than that in the observation group2at the7th day [(12.9±2.0pg/ml) and (9.1±1.6pg/ml)], while there was no significant differences between observation group2and the control group (P=0.941). Conclusion:Inflammatory factor can be c ompletely back to normal after anti-inflammatory therapy of acute gouty arthritis for10to14da ys. This study provide evidence for the course of anti-inflammatory drug used in patients with ac ute gouty arthritis. Conclusion Inflammatory factor can be completely back to normal after anti-inflammatory therapy of acute gouty arthritis for10to14days. This study provide evidence for the course of anti-in flammatory drug used in patients with acute gouty arthritis.
