Contemporary Enlightenment Of Chinese Traditional Medical Ethics Education

With the progress of times and the development of material civilization, our society hasbeen eroded by money worship in different degrees, even the medical industry. Some medicalstaff has lost their holy mission and professional ethics, together with the unhealthy medicalsystem, the medical ethics in China has been deteriorating. With the change of time, thetraditional cultures might keep its nature without being eroded. As part of traditional cultures,traditional medical ethics may play its positive roles in the new era. On basis of this view, thepaper aims to probe into the implications of traditional medical ethics for the modern society.For a long time, the medical service in China has been monopoly position and themedical staffs have lost their service awareness for the people. The unequal status between themedical staff and the patients often lead to some clashes. So education of medical morals iskey for the professional education of medical staff, which relates to the social stability andharmony. It is of great theoretical significance to study the effect of traditional medical ethicson the modern medical industry. The study is helpful to perfect our medical security system,to arouse the working enthusiasm and creative spirits of medical staff, and to solve thedoctor-patient contradiction.By using the literature review, theoretical analysis and survey analysis, this paper pointsout the problems of present medical industry and put forward some measures, hoping to raisethe medial staff’s quality and improve the medical industry. On the basis of traditionalmedical ethics in Chinese classical literature, the paper makes an inventive suggestion onbuilding the modern medical systems by combining the modern medical practice with thehumanistic thoughts. The paper first points out the ideas of Chinese traditional medical ethics,then exposes the decline of medical staff, and finally put forward some suggestions on how tostrengthen the modern education of medical morals and how to build Chinese modern medicalethic systems.
