The Research On Screening And Growth Rule Of The Introduced Varieties Agaricus Bisporus

Taking two introduced varities of Agaricus bisporus Ta and Tb, which were introduced from Canada and suitable for facility cultivation, and two main domestic varieties As2796 and L as research objects, by way of mensurating the growth characteristics and the output of hypha of Agaricus bisporus, the author appraised the production performance of the strains newly introduced overseas and that of main domestic varieties, and then analyzed the differences between the strains newly introduced overseas and main domestic varieties, which laid theoretical foundation for selecting the Agaricus bisporus strain with fine characters for facility cultivation. Finally some good introduced varieties, relative culture medium of the stock culture and the liquid spawn that suit those varieties were screened out; based on which, the author took stalk straw, a staple crop straw in south China as raw material, and screened out a high production formula. The result indicated that:Firstly, comparing the production performance of introduced varieties with that of main domestic varieties, we could see that strains Ta, Tb, which were introduced from Canada, showed its high production, but its mushroom shape was not so good as that of As2796. According to the result of our preliminary observation, although Ta and Tb have good disease resistance, it is necessary to carry on further experiment and observation. Speaking of Ta and Tb, Tb showed better characteristics esp.its delicate pulp, etc. Taking growth, the fruitbody economical characters and the nutrition ingredients of different hyphas into consideration comprehensively, we think Tb was the better introduced variety. So the author suggests that we take Tb as the substitution variety of As2796 for the producing fresh mushroom.Secondly, while studying the formula of culture medium of the stock culture of the introduced variety Tb, the author found that, the increase of the quantity of Indian meal and the protein peptone in culture medium helps the hypha of the Agaricus bisporus grow well, which indicated that culture medium F is suitable for the introduced variety Tb.Thirdly, the characters of Tb such as the fast growth speed of the spawn on different culture medium of the stock culture reflected that Tb grew well in culture medium Y2 and Y3: white hyphas grow closely with little yellow liquid and sprout well after sowing seeds.
