Designing the experiment with replacement series design method, we study the competition ship of L.chinensis and A.frigida from June 2003 to October 2005. Comparing the different treat L.chinensis and A.frigida competition ship, the results as the following:1. In the 22:6 and 6:22 L.chinensis-A.fr igida mixtures, the competition power of L.chinensis was significantly higher. In these two mixtures, L.chinensis has an advantage on height growth, and light response curves of photosynthesis are high, and have advantage on biomass of community and signal plant.2. Different mixtures have impact on branches and roots of L.chinensis, but have not marked impact on A.frigida.The bud numbers and rhizoma length and branches are correlation. Different reproductive characters of L.chinensis and A.frigida have influence on their branches change. Rhizoma reproductive characters of L.chinensis make it easier enlarge in community, but the A.frigida is slower and reaches a steady level at last. The competition power of L.chinensis branches drop year after year, but A.frigida is opposition.3. In all cases, there is no effect on the height growth pattern. But, right ratio can promote the pasture height growth. When the mixture ratio has a widely difference (the rate are 22:6 and 6:22), mixture-breeding promote the height growth of L.chinensis, and L.chinensis have advantage. By contraries (the rate is 14:14), mixture promotes the height growth of A.frigida, and A.frigida has advantage. Competition makes L.chinensis height growth stabilization and A.frigida height growth increase year after year.4. Mixture-breeding have influence on their physiology and ecology characters. As the community density increase, the leaves change thin to enlarge area to boost up the competition power of light. Few A.frigida can make the leaf area index of L.chinensis increase. Different rate have...
